They wanted something springy and colorful to really get the feel of their early April nuptials. Sandra is a HUGE fan of tulips and what better time to have them than in the middle of spring? However, perhaps a little rudely, I confessed I didn't like the Easter egg look of regular tulips when clustered in a bouquet. Thankfully, she was not offended (outwardly) and was very receptive to my idea of using parrot tulips instead. They are a gorgeous flower and aren't used enough in my opinion.
Here is what I created for Sandra and Scott. I think it really came out famously!
BRIDAL PARTY FLOWERS
mother's corsage: I love these tiger stripe spray roses!
father's boutonnieres: I used the tiger spray roses to compliment the mother's
huge fan of wax flower these days... you'll be seeing it a lot :)
I really love all the vibrant colors of this wedding! quite a change from theme colors; very natural!
the vibrant and spring inspired bridesmaids' bouquets
the glorious and unique parrot tulip boutonniere that turned out so well...
so I can totally admit that I was wrong about tulips... they don't look like Easter eggs. I adore the texture and uniqueness of these parrot tulips... GORGEOUS!
you should see these bad boys when they open up all the way! AMAZING!
Thank you so much Sandra and Scott for letting me help you with your bridal party flowers and for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! May God bless your happy union for at least a thousand years!
